Position Overview

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Farm Store Retail Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, pays attention to detail, and takes initiative to keep the store running smoothly. This role involves customer interaction, stocking, cleaning, and supporting daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
  
  
• Learn our products and answer customer questions confidently (or quickly find answers by asking a teammate/manager).
  
  
• Restock fridges, freezers, shelves, and displays to keep everything looking full and neat.
  
  
• Wash, weigh, and package eggs according to farm standards.
  
  
• Keep the store clean and inviting, including sweeping, dusting, wiping down counters, and maintaining windows and cooler doors.
  
  
• Monitor product levels and communicate with the manager about low stock or restock needs.
  
  
• Assist with labeling, inventory tasks, and other duties as needed.
  
  
• Follow farm policies, safety standards, and food handling guidelines.
  
  

Requirements

• Must be at least 17 years old.
  
  
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  
  
• Friendly, positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for local food and farming.
  
  
• Strong communication skills and a clear, confident way of speaking with customers.
  
  
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently once trained.
  
  
• Attention to detail and willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
  
  
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.
  
  
• Prior farm experience is preferred, but not required — we’re happy to train the right person!
  
  

Schedule & Pay

• Per-diem position at this time…primarily weekends and some holidays.
  
  
• Schedule set monthly; flexibility is appreciated during busy farm seasons.
  
  
• Pay is competitive and based on experience.
